Happy Mother’s Day
May 11, 2008 by Jessica
I wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you to my mother and mother-in-law.
My mother is an incredible woman. We have a very good relationship. She always offers a listening ear and comfort when needed. She is very easy to talk to and has alot of wisdom. She is unbelievably crafty and creative and has blessed our family in so many ways. She is always full of ideas and gives you a different perspective that you may not have thought of. She is very forgiving and people are automatically drawn to her. She is very articulate and has a way with words that I envy. She is the grandmother to my children that I always knew she would be.
My mother-in-law is also a wonderful woman. I have not had the chance to get to know her as much as I would like because of the distance. She and my father-in-law live just outside Boston, although we wish they were closer. I love her for many reason and one of the main reasons is she opened her life and heart to my husband. Their situation is not your typical situation but she didn’t let that stop her. She also has made me feel like part of the family from the moment I married Jason. Due to the distance, she got to meet her grandkids for the first time last November and the boy’s loved her like they had known her forever.
So on this day, I just want to thank both of you for what you have meant to me in my live. I love you both very much.
Happy Mother’s Day

Children are a gift from God so being a mother means that God has touched my life personally. Having a loving daughter who is becoming the mother I wish I could have been is my life’s ultimate reward. You are my child of firsts…first born…you married first…you gave me my first grandchild…and you were the one that first taught me about God the Father’s love because once I saw your little face I knew a love like no other. That was over 30 years ago and you are still teaching me love. Thank you for being such a wonderful daughter…I do love you with all my heart!
Awww, what your mom wrote was so sweet. Making me tear up over here.
Happy Mother’s Day to both you and your mom…and MIL too!
