National Day of Prayer 2008

Please join today in praying for the 7 points of prayer for 7 days. And they are as follows:

• Business
• Education
• Church
• Family

We need a great revival in our nation so that we as a country will turn back to Jesus. Against all the lies, our country was founded on Christian principals. Our children were educated from the bible. And I believe that is one of the many reason that our country is in the sad state that it is in. We have turned our backs on God.

The 2008 Honorary Chairman of the National Day of Prayer is Dr. Ravi Zacharias. Although I enjoy his teachings and think he is a very knowledgeable and intelligent man, I think he made a very poor decision to appease the masses. Rather than offending any Jews, he decided to offend Jesus Christ instead. I am very disappointed in the fact that he decided to close his prayer without the name of Jesus. We need to remember that we can never remove the name of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ sets us apart from every other religion out there. And as John 14:6 states:

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me”.

This has reminded me of the importance of teaching Ranen and Micah that we always pray in the name of Jesus Christ. And I pray that you will also as we pray for our public and national figures on this National Day of Prayer.
